Sterling Mansoori, Ph.D., P.M.P.

sterlingDr. Sterling Mansoori is the founder and Director of Sterling Health Center.   Dr. Mansoori is a specialist in health care management with over 20 years experience in Management Information Systems. As such he has consulted with a number of hospital clients nationwide to plan, design and implement their Management Information Systems. He has worked as both a Quality Assurance Reviewer and Business Manager with IBM for eleven years.  Dr. Mansoori developed and copyrighted the Patient Tracking System software known as PTS and served as a Data Processing Manager for Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is a U.S. citizen, and has lived in Dallas since 1979 with his wife and two children. Dr. Mansoori has traveled extensively and consulted both domestically and abroad. This has provided him with a wealth of experience across a very wide range of cultures, politics and economies especially those in Europe and the Middle East. Dr. Mansoori studied at Southern Methodist University, Oklahoma University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, University of Southern Mississippi and University of Tehran and has received degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration and Operations Research. Additionally, Dr. Mansoori is also a certified as a Project Manager Professional by the United States Project Management Institute.

 

Vahideh Melinda Mansoori, ND, LMT, MTI

vahidehDr.Vahideh Mansoori is Doctor of Naturopathy. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor for over 12 years and  serves as the Director of Education of Sterling Health Center. In this capacity she offers students a wealth of experience in the field of massage therapy and provides an exceptionally friendly and comfortable teaching presence. As Director of Education, she is responsible for the overall quality of curriculum and educational program development. She teaches a variety of massage therapy courses including Anatomy, Physiology, Hydrotherapy, Health and Hygiene, Business and Ethics and Swedish Massage technique.

 

Susan Anderson, ART, MTI, LMT

susanMs. Susan Anderson is a graduate of the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Florida and has taught massage techniques since 1992.  Besides teaching, Susan has over 15 years experience in various aspects of massage therapy, specializing in the evaluation and restoration of traumatic injuries. She provided massage therapy in Tulsa Oklahoma from 1994 until 2002 when she relocated to the Dallas area to be closer to her aging parents. She teaches Health and Hygiene, Hydrotherapy, Business and Ethics, Swedish Technique as well as numerous advanced courses including Introduction to Trigger Point, Carpal Tunnel, Headache techniques, and My Favorite Muscles.  A published author, Susan was the first Massage Therapist in the nation to be credentialed in Active Release Techniques (ART). 

 

Jerome Kennedy, LMT, MTI

jerome Jerome completed his Massage Therapy Level I program at Sterling Health Center, then two years later decided to seek his Massage Therapy Instructor certificate. He has completed many advanced courses and can teach Shiatsu, Trigger Point, and Acupressure. He enjoys a variety of hobbies and is quite passionate about martial arts.

 

 

Lainey Grace, RN, LMT, MTI

Ms. Grace is a registered nurse massage therapist, having 25 years experience in nursing, in a variety of clinical settings.  Since 1975, she has worked at several hospitals and nursing homes, and has taught from 1999 to 2001 at the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts in Norcross, Georgia. Ethics, Clinical Decision Making, and Neuromuscular Therapy are among the courses she has instructed. Ms. Grace is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, the Association of Bodywork and Massage Therapists, and the National Association of Nurses Massage Therapists. She teaches Anatomy and Physiology, NMT and Swedish Massage.

 

Tim St. Onge, DC, MT

Tim St. Onge graduated Salutatorian of his Chiropractic class in May 2005.  During his Chiropractic education, he earned numerous awards both academically and in the clinic as well as being named to Who’s Who in American Universities.  In addition to school, Dr. St. Onge has completed an extra study in the Gonstead method of adjusting and is a certified provider for Active Release Techniques.  Prior to chiropractic school, Dr. St. Onge worked for 7 years as a personal trainer and massage therapist.  He graduated from Texas Tech in 1996 with a degree in exercise science.  He teaches Anatomy and Physiology.

 

Patricia A. Wood  LMT, MTI

Patricia Wood is the head of the Spanish Basic Massage Therapy program.  She is a graduate of Sterling Health Center and a Licensed Esthetician.  Her background as a school teacher and the challenges that go along with it, have helped her make the transition to a Massage Therapy Instructor.  She has been able to combine her love for teaching and her passion for Massage Therapy into a wonderful opportunity to be a Massage Therapy Instructor in her native Spanish language.

 

Adele Kestner, D.C.

Dr. Kestner received her degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic, Dallas, Texas in September 1993.  She received her undergraduate degree of Bachelors of Science from Texas Woman’s University in 1990.  In September of 1993, Dr. Kestner completed a 108-hour Acupuncture Certification Program at Parker College.  She is in private practice today in Dallas.

 

Stella Mansoori,   LMT, MTI

Ms. Mansoori is a graduate of Sterling Health Center and has taught courses in GX99 body treatments equipment to our employees and clients, for approximately eighteen months. Instruction included full body exfoliation, relaxation, lymphatic drainage and contraindications to use of the GX99. She displays a unique ability to teach and counsel employees and clients. She was loyal and always places the welfare of the company above all else. Her long hours of work, and patience with students make her an ideal instructor.

 

Steve Cutrer, B.A., B.S., D.C.

Mr. Cutrer is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. He specializes in the Gonstead technique.  He also has a BA in Business Management from Concordia University and a BS in Human Anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic.  Dr. Cutrer offers a depth of experience and knowledge as a chiropractor, business owner, business operations head, general manager, and manager.  He has owned several businesses.  He was the founder and operator of Crisland Residential Services, Inc. which operated 5 immediate care facilities for the mentally impaired. He served as Vice-President of Cutco, Inc., where he was responsible for budgeting, marketing, advertising, and daily operations. Cutco operations included 8 grocery stores and 1 warehouse with a gross volume that exceeded 26 million per year.  Additionally, Dr. Cutrer was the founder of Davenport Market in Austin Texas, a small gourmet and specialty grocery store. Currently he is in private practice in Frisco, Texas. Dr. Cutrer teaches Business Practices and Professional Ethics.

 

Andrea Jewel Bushland, LMT, MTI

Certified by Sterling Health Center in August of 2003 in Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage, Jewel has been practicing since then. She has worked closely with a Chiropractor/Kinesiologist since January of 2004 to develop what she believes to be the most effective way to facilitate the movement of Lymphatic fluid through the body for detoxification, immunes stimulation and the management of Edema
