Thailand Trip 2008 updated 11/30/07

Sterling Health Center is offering a Thai Massage class in Thailand. Massage Therapist students will earn 30 Hours Advanced / Continue Education credit in Thai Massage. This is an opportunity to travel abroad and learn the Ancient Thai secret of massage. See the sights such as the Grand Palace, Wat Po Temple, Bang Pain Palace and many more. This Thailand Trip is an extended field trip for massage students and their family or friends who whish to study Thai Massage and experience the sights, sounds and beauty of Thailand. There are no tours or sightseeing excursions planning for this trip. All sightseeing or extra curricular activities taken are the sole responsibility of individual and not Sterling Health Center Massage school. Thus trip is for any therapist or instructor looking for a great chance to escape - and learn the fundamentals of Thai massage. Explore the natural beauty of Chiang Mai, the vibrancy of Bangkok, and elevate your professional skills in a Thai massage workshop. A class minimum of 8 is required to avoid course cancellation.

Pre-requisiteNone. This class is available to anyone wishing to learn Thai Massage.

When: November 2008. Plan on leaving November 6 and coming back on November 20. of 2008 (15 days).
Fee: $2550 This Fee includes:

  • 2 nights Hotel stay (double occupancy each room) in Bangkok
  • 9 nights Hotel/Guest House stay (double occupancy each room) in Chaing Mai
  • 2 more nightsHotel Stay in Bangkok (double occupancy each room)
  • Includes round trip airfare from Dallas, TX to Bangkok, from Bangkok to Chiang Mai
  • Airport transfers on Chaing Mai Hotel/Guest House
  • All hotel/airfare taxes included. .
  • Breakfast each morning in Bangkok
  • 30 Hours Thai Massage Class
  • All course required books

The Fee should be paid to the school by 08/20/08. Cash, check, Pay Pal or Credit Card (phone orders) accepted. Family & Friends Package is $2150 if they are not attending to the 30 hours Thai massage class.

Class Dates: Nov 10-14 Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
The class will be a 5 days class covering 30 hours of Thai Massage. Students will receive a 30 hours of Continue Education Credits for their training on the Thai Massage.

Location: Chiang Mai , Thailand

Other Information:

  • Budget a Maximum of $75 per person, per day for additional stay, plus airfare change date fee.
  • Additional training maybe available after the first week if you are interested please notify the school
  • Students are responsible for all expenses during their stay in Thailand.
  • Sterling staff will leave Dallas to Thailand on November 6 and they may return to Dallas after November 20.
  • There will be a minimum of two meetings in the school prior to our trip to discuss the details of our trip to Thailand. We highly recommend your attendance to these meetings.
  • Registration Fee, travel and lodging expenses incurred by a taxpayer while attending a convention or seminar relating to their profession will continue to be fully deductible, meal cost will remain 50% deductible (Tax Reform Act of 1986 - Check with your CPA for more information).
  • Full payment is requires to reserve a space. Enrollment is limited.
  • Sterling Health Center reserves the right to cancel any class, in which case the tuition fee will be returned in full. Sterling Health Center is not responsible for any gauranteed airline and hotel reservation.
